Recycling and Raw Materials Conference

The Recycling and Raw Material Conference in Berlin dealt with current legal, economic and technical developments in waste management, raw materials and recycling.

The most important topics included research clusters, funding by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in the areas of sustainability research, economic strategic resources in and from waste streams, resource potentials  of mineral residues and by-products of thermal processes, the recovery of valuable materials from waste mass flows from residential and commercial waste and the resource potential of dumps and landfills.

The session "BMBF Funding of Sustainability Research" included presentations of research results from the following r² projects:
